Service Description

A powerful experience inside a traditional Temazcal (sweat lodge). A Temazcal is believed to be the womb of Mother Earth, where we go into, to find balance and purify our body and our minds. The Temazcal is heated inside with hot volcanic rocks, the "abuelitas" (grandmothers). They are a symbol of our ancestral memory, as they come from the core of the earth. During the experience, we will be working with the four elements of nature (earth, water, air and fire) as each of them is related to an aspect of ourselves. You will come out of the Temazcal reborn. It is a meaningful and powerful experience. At the end you will be able to enjoy a jump to the waters of a cenote or a natural pool. There will be some time to rest, eat some fruit and have a refreshing drink. Experience duration: 3 hours. WHAT TO BRING Bathing suit. Sarong if you have one. Mosquito repelent. Towel.
